thank goodness it's over.
the NTU 3on3 was a nightmare! first, our wonderful team mates showed up
seriously half an hour before our game, which totally pissed me off but couldn't stay angry because of Fionne's retardedness. -smacks!-
all our games were off to a pretty good start & lucky us had darling team mates down for support - my dear butt & jac. but once we had the huge in between break between our games,the exhaustion started to settle in because of the time & temperature! it was so unbelievably cold i think icicles were starting to form.
so, 3 pigs settled down in front of Tyra Banks wrapped in our jackets &
slept.waking up to our next few games, which were pretty much quite disastrous because we were tired, grumpy, cold, had the enthusiasm of a snail crossing the highway, etc. though i must say playing against that particular team totally put me in a bad mood.
tsk @ least after that we were more alert & started to play better :)
faced the two TP teams in the semis & finals. initially, shee, fionne & i were so tired of playing through the night we considered withdrawing. all we wanted to do was go home & sleep in our comfy beds. haha, but Jappo was desperate to get that 7 bucks. So, we played. not too well at the start, but we managed to make a comeback before it was too late. & in the 2nf half of e finals, the fatigue started to show.its a good thing we played well at least 3/4 of the game. haha.
anyways, i must say to my
3on3 Monsters team that I'm so proud & glad we stuck to the end. yes, our very first and last overnight 'gaming' experience. we did it without a keeper & not with our very best players either, so good job sweethearts*
to dear devlin, what an experience. one night & you guys were put through so much trauma. work hard towards your goal & one day you will be able to achieve it:) don't let the pressure of the game pull you down.
